Luxe Wilderness – Nuwara Eliya
This is your own little piece of luxe with amazing views as you have the entire place to yourself. Although only one bedroom it is still suitable for families as there are 2 queen beds which are super comfortable. This is a beautiful house with amazing views – you may never leave the bathtub.
Jetwing St. Andrews – Nuwara Eliya
If Colonial-Style is what you are after with gorgeous landscaped gardens and high tea fit for the Queen, then welcome to St. Andrews. Located away from the hustle and bustle but still only a 10-minute walk into town this well-preserved country house has simply decorated rooms with all the comforts. Be sure to checkout the traditional British pub.
The Bungalow – Nuwara Eliya
The location cannot get much better and the views are lovely. The accommodation is like a homestay in which there is a large lounge room downstairs with kitchen and dining table where the breakfast is provided, but we loved this because it was very homely and intimate with other guests and the hosts.
Hotel Onrock – Ella
What a fabulous hotel in a perfect location, although there is a very steep hill to get to it. Just think that every time you walk up it you are walking off all the rice & curry! The views from the hotel are spectacular and the rooms are simple but have everything that you need including a balcony. The staff are truly amazing and will do everything for you – you may never want to leave.
Villa Eden Paradise – Ella
An easy walk to the train station and also to town is this little villa located up the hill in the woods. The rooms are simple with everything that you need and the staff and breakfast are fantastic.
Country Homes – Ella
Simple, pleasant décor that resembles a cozy cabin in the woods. Open up the curtains, climb back into bed and just enjoy the view. I could watch it all day – even the shower had a view – it is breathtaking. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious with town only a short walk away.
